One of the biggest creative challenges was designing for a mature luxury audience without making the brand feel dated or overly conservative. Boston Proper’s customer wanted to feel youthful, empowered, and fashion forward, but the visual direction still needed to maintain sophistication and elegance. Finding that balance required careful creative decision making across typography, imagery, layouts, and overall campaign styling. Another challenge was maintaining consistency across multiple digital touchpoints while still keeping content visually fresh and engaging. With frequent email campaigns, promotional launches, and social content, every asset needed to feel cohesive within the Boston Proper brand while avoiding repetition. The work had to feel aspirational and luxurious while still remaining approachable, wearable, and emotionally connected to the customer.
